Company founder Lee's history in the construction industry laid the foundation for his transition into property development. Leveraging his experience, he founded Devlin Developments, driven by a passion for creating quality homes. This venture not only reflects his dedication to excellence in construction but also showcases his ability to build a thriving team around a shared vision. With a commitment to quality and innovation, Devlin Developments are poised to continue to make a significant impact locally.
Lee Devlin
Company Director
Lee is the founder of Devlin Developments and has always been passionate about building the finest properties. As the Director, Lee oversees all aspects of the company, including its strategic vision and the overall delivery of high-quality residential developments. With over 20 years of experience in property development and construction, he brings deep industry knowledge, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to every project.
Lee oversees site acquisitions, planning, project management, and architectural designs. Under Lee's direction, Devlin Developments has built a strong reputation for delivering beautiful homes designed and delivered to the highest possible standards. Lee is passionate about building strong teams, where employees and subcontractors are proud to be part of the journey and the Devlin brand. Lee drives the continued growth of the company.
Outside of work, Lee enjoys spending time with his family and supporting his son with his sports. Lee also enjoys keeping himself fit, you can often find him entering running and hyrox competitions.
MEET OUR TEAM
James
Site Manager
James joined us in 2023 as a Site Manager and he has been effectively managing onsite teams and delivering projects to schedule since. James manages a busy team and is charge of supervising and hiring subcontractors, buying materials, scheduling works, monitoring build costs and project progress.
James is instrumental onsite with all the essential qualities needed for a site manager, bringing the team together with his happiness, enthusiasm and humorous character. James shares the same passion and vision for our homes and the future of Devlin Developments. (Just don’t eat his cookies!)
James started his career as a carpenter and has worked himself up into Site Management, and prior to Devlin Developments, James was a successful Site Manager at a large house builder.
Outside of work James is a family man who also enjoys fishing and keeping himself fit.
Chris
Working Foreman
Chris has been with us from the very beginning and is a vital member of our team. Highly skilled and incredibly versatile, he’s recently taken full ownership of all things groundworks, ensuring every finishing touch meets the highest standard.
Known for his eye for detail and broad knowledge, Chrissy can turn his hand to just about anything. His craftsmanship extends beyond work - he recently built his own beautiful home in his spare time.
Soon to step into the role of Working Foreman, he will be responsible for overseeing the management and construction of a barn conversion. Responsibilities will include coordinating subcontractors, managing materials and maintaining hands-on involvement in the practical aspects of the build.
Outside of work, Chrissy enjoys playing golf, keeping himself fit (and is a seriously fast runner!), enjoys quality time with his son and loves taking him fishing.
Sam
Site Manager
Sam joined Devlin Developments as a Site Manager in 2025 and immediately took the lead on one of our Baconsthorpe projects near Holt, North Norfolk.
Previously, Sam worked as an Assistant Site Manager at a national house builder. With a background in construction and site management, Sam enjoys building bespoke homes and is keen to deliver his first development for the company.
Sam has a keen eye for detail and is solution-focused; he thrives on tackling challenges and keeping everything running smoothly – key qualities for a successful build.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys quality time with his family, beach days, and exploring the outdoors.
He’s also a keen golfer, fisherman, and hiker – anything that gets him outside and active!
Neill
Quantity Surveyor
Neill brings many years of experience in quantity surveying and assists us with all things quantities, quotes, and figures.
He specialises in quantifying the materials required for our projects and tendering out to subcontractors.
Neill has worked on a wide range of projects throughout his career, from building new housing developments to commercial projects, and is known for his attention to detail and collaborative approach.
Outside of work, Neill likes spending time with his children and enjoys keeping himself fit.
He has now signed up for his first-ever Hyrox competition, after being talked into it in the office!
Ross
Trainee Assistant Manager
Ross has known the Director for many years and even worked on one of the very first homes Lee and Hayley built together over a decade ago.
After initially training as a carpenter, Ross went on to work in steel erecting and the wider industrial sector. This background has equipped him with a wealth of practical skills that are invaluable on a construction site, where he is also known for his upbeat, positive attitude.
Now stepping into the role of Trainee assistant Manager, Ross is embracing the challenge of learning every aspect the position involves. His favourite part of the job is the variety it brings and the satisfaction of seeing a project grow from its foundations through to the finished home.
Outside of work, Ross keeps active through running and Hyrox classes, and has a strong passion for cars and travel.
Shane
Trainee Site Manager
Shane started working for us during his summer holidays from college, joining full-time once he completed his college career. Shane fitted into the team immediately and has a very professional attitude.
Shane is gaining hands-on experience of being a Site Manager, working closely with site staff, supporting the day-to-day coordination of trades, site safety, and material logistics. He is going to begin his STSMS qualification and is passionate about working his way up to Site Manager.
Shane brings a proactive attitude, keen eye for detail and has a strong commitment to learning and growth within the construction industry.
Outside of work Shane is enthusiastic about cars and going drag racing.
Hayley
Office Manager
Hayley has always been behind the scenes at Devlin Developments and provides essential support to the Director on the day-to-day running of the company, along with support to all key members of staff.
Hayley manages the purchasing of many items, along with many other tasks which are essential in the running of a busy development company, from arranging fleet insurance to ensuring the office is fully stocked with coffee to get through the week! She is also a dab hand with a mop and duster to make sure the properties sparkle, ready for handover.
Hayley's background is in commercial property management and residential lettings.
In Hayley’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and family and is often found on the sidelines of a football pitch across Norfolk. Hayley likes to keep fit and has recently got into running.
Sarah
Interior Designer
Sarah joined Devlin Developments at the start of 2025 and fitted seamlessly into the company straight away.
Sarah is in charge of all things interiors, always finding ways to keep ahead of the trends that suit our homes.
Sarah is also the main point of contact for customers throughout their home-buying journey, guiding them with their personal touches and coordinating any additional items they may like to include.
Sarah’s background is in new build properties and commercial property management.
In Sarah’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, she also enjoys cooking … although she says she’s much better at eating out!
Claire
Accounts Manager
Claire has been part of Devlin Developments for over five years, playing a key role in coordinating payments and managing financial reporting.
Claire has been instrumental in delivering detailed monthly cost reports to the Director, helping to ensure budgets are closely monitored throughout each stage of our builds.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She’s also a dedicated member of her local CrossFit gym and loves to unwind with a glass of wine (or two!) at the weekend!
